My red beattle pet!

This pic was taken very close up with a Fuji finepix 3800. I'm not sure what settings I finally was able to get a decent coloring, but I then did some slight contrast/brightness adjustment with the gimp (Open source photoshop alternative). It is obvious I am at the far end of the amateur photographer spectrum, but I learned that taking macros is difficult! This was the best of about 10, all different.
